NOTICE OF VACANCY
IN OFFICE OF PARISH COUNCILLOR
Notice is hereby given that due to the resignation of Robert Dick, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.
In accordance with the Local Elections Rules an election to fill the vacancy shall be held if, within 14 days after the date of this notice (i.e. no later than 7 January 2021), a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to The Returning Officer, South Northants Council, The Forum, Moat Lane, Towcester NN12 6AD by TEN electors for the Electoral Area, an election will be held to fill the vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
If an election is called, it will take place as soon as practicable and in line with the Local Government and Police Crime Commissioner (Coronavirus) (Postponement of Elections and Referendums) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020.
