Greatworth
Greatworth is one of the finest villages in South Northamptonshire, laying approximately 10 miles East of Banbury and 4 miles from Brackley on the South Northamptonshire/ Oxfordshire borders
We are fortunate to have a public house and a shop and post office. The village has a Primary School, and a pre-school. There is a Church (C of E) and a Methodist Chapel. The Village has a Sports and Social Club and there are a number of organizations within the village which always welcome new members.
We have an active Parish Council covering the villages of Greatworth, Halse and Stutchbury.
The village comprises of around 480 dwellings, with around 900 residents.
The village is a quiet location, at one of the highest points of Northamptonshire, which can be approached by road from three directions but remains very much a heart of the country position with fantastic views in all directions.
